Here are photos from the Anaheim University TESOL residential session that was held on the campus of Showa Women's University from August 4th - 7th, 2016. I was joined by Anaheim University professors Dr. Denise Murray and Dr. Hayo Reinders. A joint Anaheim University - Showa Women's University open TESOL conference was held on Saturday, August 6th with teachers from around Japan attending to see Showa Women's University President Tomoko Kaneko and Anaheim University TESOL professors Rod Ellis, Hayo Reinders, Denise Murray, Kathleen Bailey, Luke Plonsky and myself speak. Anaheim University Ed.D. in TESOL students also had the opportunity to present during the conference. During the conference, Dr. Rod Ellis was presented with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from the United States House of Representatives for his lifetime achievements to the field of Applied Linguistics.
